Space to think differently

Coaching begins with your questions.

Coaching is a strengths-based partnership. It is not advice, evaluation, or someone else’s prescription for your life. Through deep listening and thoughtful questions, we make room for awareness, choice, and meaningful action.

01

Leadership & transitions

Step into a new role, make a thoughtful change, or decide what comes next.

02

Confidence & self-trust

Recognize your strengths and loosen the pull of perfectionism and external validation.

03

Boundaries & workload

Create a more sustainable way to meet competing clinical, professional, and personal demands.

04

Fulfillment & purpose

Reconnect with what matters and shape a life and career that feel more intentional.

Client reflections

In their own words.

Shared with permission. Individual experiences are personal and results vary.

Dr. Vuppala has been an invaluable mentor through some of the most challenging seasons of my training. From a major personal loss and the grief that followed during medical school, to preparing for boards, and the demands of a PhD program. She helped me regroup, find my way back to my goals, push past self-doubt, and recognize what I’m capable of. What sets Dr. Vuppala apart is her empathy and her unwavering belief in the people she works with. She has a gift for helping you turn uncertainty into confidence, all while reminding you of the vision you have for yourself. I have no doubt that I will be a stronger physician-scientist than I would have been without her coaching.

— Payton Klosa

My coaching session with Dr. Vuppala focused on the cost and benefit of my internal monologue. How it can help but also hinder my progress at times. I feel this gave me insight into how I can continue to grow in my practice and education while still having grace for myself as a person and provider. Dr. Vuppala is a wonderful coach with fantastic listening skills and insights. I look forward to working with her further to continue my progress professionally and personally!

— Candace Clark

I have attended coaching sessions, mainly focused on professional development with Dr. Vuppala. I found these sessions very helpful in gaining deeper insight into my values around patient care, and I was better able to navigate and evaluate my approach to patient care. I would recommend coaching to anyone interested in personal or professional development, and Dr. Vuppala is an excellent active listener who offers helpful and insightful questions to help you navigate whatever issue you bring to her.

Coaching is for people, not job titles

Not a physician or healthcare professional? You are warmly welcome here.

You may be navigating a transition, carrying too much, questioning what comes next, or simply wanting your life to feel more aligned with what matters to you.

You do not need to work in medicine—or arrive with a perfectly defined goal—to benefit from coaching. This is protected space to slow down, think out loud, recognize your strengths, and discover forward-looking possibilities that fit your life.

Bring your whole self. I would still love to coach you.

See if coaching feels right

Coaching for healthcare professionals

You care for others. There should be room for you, too.

Healthcare asks for competence, steadiness, and compassion—even when you are depleted, stretched thin, or navigating change.

Whether you are a physician, nurse, advanced practice provider, therapist, pharmacist, educator, administrator, or another member of the healthcare community, coaching gives you a confidential, non-evaluative place to think.

We can explore boundaries, confidence, leadership, burnout, transitions, identity, work–life integration, or whatever is asking for your attention. Here, you are more than your role—and you do not need to have the answer before you arrive.

Create space for yourself

A place to begin

Common themes healthcare professionals might bring to coaching

You may recognize yourself in one of these—or arrive with something entirely different. There is no need to know exactly where to begin.

  1. 01

    Work–life balance

Making space for family, relationships, and personal interests.

  2. 02

    Efficiency & workload

Managing documentation, inbox demands, and competing responsibilities.

  3. 03

    Boundaries

Saying no, protecting time, and navigating expectations.

  4. 04

    Career direction

Clarifying goals, exploring new roles, or considering a career change.

  5. 05

    Leadership & communication

Leading teams, delegating, and navigating difficult conversations.

  6. 06

    Confidence & self-criticism

Managing perfectionism, self-doubt, and the pressure to have every answer.

  7. 07

    Professional fulfillment

Reconnecting with purpose and identifying what makes work meaningful.

  8. 08

    Navigating change

Adjusting to a new position, organizational changes, or increasing responsibilities.

  9. 09

    Relationships at work

Addressing conflict with colleagues, administrators, or staff.

  10. 10

    Sustainable habits

Creating realistic routines for rest, exercise, and personal well-being.

Coaching for advanced practice providers

Your role carries complexity, responsibility, and possibility.

As an APP, you may be balancing autonomy and collaboration, growing clinical responsibility, shifting expectations, and the desire to build a career that remains sustainable.

Coaching offers protected space to explore confidence, workload, leadership, difficult conversations, boundaries, career direction, and what professional fulfillment looks like for you.

Explore what you need next

Coaching for physicians

You can be deeply capable and still want a different way forward.

The work may be meaningful and still feel heavy. You may be navigating burnout, leadership, identity, boundaries, a changing career, or the quiet question of whether your life still fits you.

Coaching creates a confidential, non-evaluative place to think beyond expectations, reconnect with your strengths, and make choices grounded in what matters most to you.

Make room for your questions

Coaching for medical students

Becoming a doctor can challenge how you see yourself.

Clinical rotations, examinations, residency applications, feedback, and comparison can bring questions about worthiness, belonging, and whether you are doing enough.

This is a supportive, non-evaluative space to work through confidence, perfectionism, specialty decisions, setbacks, time management, and the transition from student to physician.

Find your way forward

Coaching for residents and fellows

Training asks you to grow while carrying a relentless workload.

The first years of becoming an independent physician can bring perfectionism around notes, competing demands, difficult feedback, new leadership responsibilities, and uncertainty about the doctor you want to become.

I have lived these transitions. Coaching can help you pause, think openly, recognize your strengths, and create practical approaches that fit your values and your real life.

Feeling fulfilled during a season of hardship is not a myth.

Coaching for mothers

You are capable of carrying a lot. That does not mean you should have to.

At work and at home, moms become remarkably good at anticipating, organizing, caring, and making things happen. Sometimes, being capable quietly becomes the expectation that you will do everything.

Coaching offers space to pause, breathe, and hear your own thoughts again. Together, we can look beyond survival mode and explore forward-thinking, practical possibilities—whether you are navigating boundaries, an unequal mental load, competing priorities, guilt, identity, or the question of what you want next.

You do not need another person telling you what you should do. You deserve a space where you are not responsible for anyone else—and where your needs, ideas, and possibilities can take up room.

Make space for yourself

Meet your coach

I understand what it means to carry a lot.

I’m Amrita—a physician mom, academic medical educator, leader, and coach who has lived the tension between caring deeply for others and remembering to care for myself.

Coaching helped me see and celebrate my strengths, grow my confidence, and question the thoughts and expectations that were no longer serving me. It helped me appreciate curiosity, empathy, and connection not as extras, but as meaningful strengths.

Today, I create that same kind of space for people from many walks of life—including physicians, healthcare professionals, and medical trainees: a place to pause, speak freely, feel genuinely heard, and discover answers that fit who they are—not who they think they are supposed to be.

Curious about coaching, but short on time?
